Boost Mobile, a wholly-owned division of Sprint, today launched its Unlimited by Boost® flat-rate wireless service in Hawaii. For a fixed monthly price, the service provides Hawaii residents with unlimited local and nationwide long distance calling from within a large home calling area extending over large areas of Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, Kauai and more. As with all service plans available from Boost Mobile, there are no contracts, credit checks or activation fees.

Unlimited home area calling goes for $35. To add unlimited texting features users will add $5, and another $5 for unlimited web access. Users also have the option to extend their home area to California and Las Vegas for another $5 per month.

"We’re shaking up the mobile phone market in Hawaii with a very attractive unlimited wireless service offer for local residents," said Sam DiSalvo, senior pricing manager, Boost Mobile. "With Unlimited by Boost, Hawaiians can take advantage of a larger home calling area, a dependable nationwide network, and Boost’s extremely competitive pricing - all with no contracts or credit checks."
